„Cooking for Solidarity“ für „Education Volunteers Foundation of Türkiye”
Am Freitag, 24. Mai war es endlich soweit: die vom InfoEck koordinierten ESK-Freiwilligen haben im Dinnerclub Innsbruck ein buntes Menü zusammengestellt und damit ihre 51 Gäste kulinarisch verwöhnt.
Der Abend im Caritas Integrationshaus in der Gumppstrasse 71 stand ganz im Zeichen Europas und der Solidarität. Die ESK-Freiwilligen aus ganz Europa haben für ihre Gäste gekocht und dabei sich selbst und den Freiwilligendienst im Europäischen Solidaritätskorps (ESK) vorgestellt.
Die jungen Köchinnen und Köche zeigten sich solidarisch mit der Organisation „Education Volunteers Foundation of Türkiye“, zu deren Gunsten der Abend organisiert wurde. Diese Organisation leistet Erdbebenhilfe in der Türkei und organisiert dort Bildungsangebote für Kinder vor Ort. Beim Dinnerclub wurde die Organisation von den ESK-Freiwilligen vorgestellt, von denen einer aus einem besonders stark von den Erdbeben betroffenen Ort in der Türkei stammt. Die „Education Volunteers Foundation of Türkiye“ setzt sich unter anderem dort ein.
Unter den zahlreichen Gästen konnten auch einige ehemalige ESK-Freiwillige und MentorInnen sowie MultiplikatorInnen begrüßt werden. Ein besonderer Dank geht dabei auch an die feld:schafft die uns noch frischen Salat aus dem Weltacker zur Verfügung gestellt hat.
Wir danken allen Gästen, dem Team vom Dinnerclub Innsbruck und allen fleißigen HelferInnen, deren tatkräftige Unterstützung maßgeblich zum erfolgreichen Gelingen des Abends beigetragen hat.
Der Dinnerclub ist ein Ort der interkulturellen Begegnung, ein Ort der Solidarität. Im Mittelpunkt steht das gemeinsame Essen, Plaudern und Diskutieren. Im Rahmen des EU-Programms Europäisches Solidaritätskorps (ESK) koordiniert das InfoEck derzeit acht Freiwillige aus ganz Europa. Sie engagieren sich ehrenamtlich bei verschiedenen Organisationen in Tirol.

“Cooking for Solidarity” for the “Education Volunteers Foundation of Türkiye”
On Friday, 24 May, the time had finally come: the EuSC volunteers coordinated by InfoEck put together a colorful menu at the Dinnerclub Innsbruck and spoiled their 51 guests with culinary delights.
The evening at the Caritas Integrationshaus in Gumppstraße 71 was all about Europe and solidarity. The EuSC volunteers from all over Europe cooked for their guests and introduced themselves and the voluntary service in the European Solidarity Corps (EuSC).
The young chefs showed their solidarity with the organization „Education Volunteers Foundation of Türkiye”, for whose benefit the evening was organized. This organization provides earthquake relief in Turkey and organizes educational programs for local children. At the Dinnerclub, the organization was introduced by the EuSC volunteers, one of whom comes from a place in Turkey that was particularly hard hit by the earthquakes. The “Education Volunteers Foundation of Türkiye” is one of the organizations working there.
A number of former EuSC volunteers, mentors and multipliers were also welcomed among the numerous guests. Special thanks also go to feld:schafft , who provided us with salad.
We would like to thank all our guests, the Dinnerclub Innsbruck team and all the hard-working helpers who made a significant contribution to the success of the evening with their active support.
The Dinnerclub is a place of intercultural encounters, a place of solidarity. The focus is on eating, chatting and discussing together. As part of the EU's European Solidarity Corps (EuSC) program, the InfoEck is currently coordinating eight volunteers from all over Europe. They are involved with various organizations in Tyrol.
